Submit photos
Whether you are a professional photographer or an amateur with a keen eye, we would be happy to host a photo album of your work.
Photos should be no larger than 450x337 pixels, individual image file size should be below 50k, and photos should be in .jpg format.
Steps To Submit Photos
- Use any digital imaging application to "resize" your original image to a size below 450x337 pixels.
- When you save the new image give it a descriptive file name (with no spaces or special characters) and apply a .jpg compression factor of 20% -- this should achieve a file size below the target of 50k.
- Using a program such as WinZip, place no more than 10 images in a compressed .zip archive.
- Attach this .zip file to an e-mail and send it to photos@chesapeakebayphotos.com. In the body of the e-mail make sure to describe the photo album contents. Please limit contents to Chesapeake Bay related photos.
It is important to note, especially for professional photographers, that when you submit digital photos to ChesapeakeBayPhotos.com we honor your copyright. Any submitted photos will credit the photographer, as well as, carry your copyright notice.
